Read Da Vinci Code

So i eventually did read Da Vinci code by Dan Brown… The language and the twists sure raises interest… I did had an idea on the old testaments and the new testaments delaing with christanity, but the novel throws a alltogether a diifferent viewpoint…
What intrigued me was phi, [The Divine Proportion, i knew this much b4 i read in the book.. dont know where i read it earlier…] a mystical ratio the book claims shows up everywhere.
Phi = 1.618. Actually it is the infinite nonrepeating decimal 1.6180339887…
I also particulaliry like the use of fibonacci series…
Dan obviously know how to make dull things interesting….
As pointed out in the novel Phi is derived from the Fibonacci sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. the quotients of successive adjacent terms (2/1, 3/2, 5/3, etc) converge on phi as you get further out…..
It can be, but the original, simpler explanation i remember i read was
Let there be line segment AC. Place point B on AC so that AC/BC = BC/AB. AC/BC = BC/AB = phi = 1.618.
It was a good read nevertheless but church conspiring against whole human mindkind does not goes down with me well… 🙂 . Winners do write down history but  ultimately truth prevails….
